Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure a smooth and professional experience for both parties. By paying your booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. A copy will be provided with your invoice and is available upon request.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Your booking is only confirmed once the non-refundable booking fee has been received.
  • A 25% booking fee of the total booking amount is required and is deducted from your final balance.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 1 calendar month before the wedding date.
  • All payments must be made via bank transfer (BACS). Cash payments must be arranged in advance and are at the artist’s discretion.

2. Minimum Booking Requirement

  • A minimum booking of Bride + 3 adults, or the monetary equivalent (excluding travel), is required for all Thursday to Sunday bookings during peak season (April–September).
  • Flower girls and trial appointments do not count towards the minimum spend.

3. Trials

  • Bridal trials are recommended but not mandatory and usually take place 3–6 months before your wedding date.
  • Trials are available Monday to Thursday, between 9am and 2pm, at my beauty room in Sittingbourne, Kent.
  • Weekend trials may be available during quieter months for an additional fee. No weekend trials are available April–October.
  • Trials are charged separately from the wedding day booking (see website for current pricing).
  • Payment is due on the day of the trial via BACS or cash.
  • If you plan to have a tan for your wedding, please attend your trial with a similar tan.
  • The beauty room accommodates up to 4 guests. Please inform me in advance if you plan to bring anyone.

Trial duration:

  • Bride: up to 2 hours
  • Bridal party: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes

One full look will be created. If you would like to explore a second look, an additional trial and charge will apply.

4. Wedding Day Timings

  • A detailed schedule will be agreed during your trial.
  • Bride: 1 hour
  • Bridesmaids / Mums: 45 minutes
  • Touch-ups: 20 minutes allocated after all applications
  • Makeup will not be applied once dresses are on to avoid product transfer.
  • All makeup should be completed at least 1 hour before the ceremony.
  • Maximum booking: 7 people
  • If more than 7 services are required, a recommendation for an additional artist can be provided.

5. Communication

  • Responses are typically within 2–3 business days (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
  • During peak season (May–October), response times may extend to 5–7 business days.

6. Pricing & Additional Charges

All standard pricing is available on the official website.

  • 25 miles round-trip travel included
  • Additional mileage:
    • 60p per mile (2025)
    • 70p per mile (2026–2027)

Additional charges:

  • Early morning start (before 7am): £50 per hour
  • Bank Holiday weddings: £100
  • Assistant artist (if required): £75
  • Change of venue outside service area: £50
  • Client-initiated rescheduling: £100
  • London weddings: £100 surcharge
  • Overnight accommodation required for venues over 2 hours away
  • All additional travel costs (tolls, congestion, parking) must be covered by the client

7. Cancellations & Amendments

  • Booking fees are non-refundable unless cancelled by the artist.
  • If the client cancels:
    • 15 weeks or more: 25% of remaining balance due
    • 12 weeks prior: 50% of remaining balance due
    • 8 weeks or less: 100% of remaining balance due
  • Changes to the bridal party must be made in writing.
  • If bridal party members cancel, deposits are forfeited.
  • Cancellations within 8 weeks require full payment.
  • The minimum booking requirement still applies if party size is reduced.
  • Failure to pay the final balance may result in cancellation.

If the artist must cancel, you will be notified as soon as possible, assistance will be given to find a replacement, and a full refund will be provided if a replacement cannot be found.

No refunds are given if you choose not to proceed after a trial.

8. Allergies & Contraindications

  • You must inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions.
  • Makeup application may be refused for contagious conditions (e.g. conjunctivitis, cold sores, flu).
  • All tools and products are sanitised between clients.
  • Please notify me in advance of pregnancy, illness, disability, or other relevant factors.

9. Destination Weddings

  • Destination bookings are quoted individually.
  • Clients must cover flights, transport, and accommodation.
  • Daily travel rate: £250 per day
  • Bridal trial is mandatory.
  • A trial is also required for at least one bridesmaid or mother of the bride.
  • Flights must be booked at least 3 months in advance.

10. Damage & Liability

  • Any damage to equipment caused by the client or guests must be reimbursed in full.
  • An invoice and photographic evidence will be provided if required.

11. Behaviour & Conduct

Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of services without refund.

12. Photography & Image Use

  • Professional images may be requested after the wedding.
  • With permission, images may be used for portfolio, website, and social media.
  • Photographer credits will be included where available.
  • You may opt out at any time by notifying me in writing.
  • If suppliers share my work, please credit: @nikitamua

13. Data Protection

  • Client data is stored securely and used only for booking and invoicing.
  • Personal data is never shared with third parties.
  • Data is retained for up to 7 years in line with HMRC requirements.
  • Please do not share personal details without consent.
